Honey Lemon Ginger Water

I’ll be honest.. I’m not a huge coffee drinker, or lover for that matter (unless it’s in ice cream form).   I know, shocking, but I do love sipping on something warm and aromatic in the mornings to wake me up and get me going.  I’ve read for years that drinking warm lemon water is great for you, but I needed just a little more pizazz to keep me interested.  Lemon water is great for digestion, provides a great source of vitamin C, rejuvenates your skin, and boosts your energy without getting you addicted to caffeine!  In addition, I add honey and ginger for more flavor and even more health benefits! You may be skeptical now, but I have a feeling you’ll be mixing things up from your normal coffee routine.

HLG water: 1 serving

half of a lemon, juiced

1 tablespoon honey

a few slices fresh ginger

8 oz. boiling water

In a cup combine all ingredients, stir, and enjoy!
